With the belief that institutional care should be the very last resort, our goal is to offer adequete support in the community so as to enable homebound seniors to age in place, and for caregivers to be well supported in their journey of caregiving. About Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) ------------------------------------------------- Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) was established in 2004 with the mission to improve the quality of life of seniors through dependable direct services, and to inculcate a generation of responsible and knowledgeable caregivers in an ageing population. CWA is a non-profit Social Service Agency (SSA) registered with the Registry of Societies (ROS), an Institute of Public Character (IPC) by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). Our services cover three core areas - Elderly Wellness & Social Support, Welfare Support and Education Awareness. Through our strategic partnerships and thrusts, we are able to make eldercare accessible to the elders in our community and their caregivers. a. Welfare Support - Case Management - Supportive Counselling - Information & Referral - Caregiver Support Group - Food Ration c. Education Awareness - Health Talks & Workshops - Annual CWA Caregivers’ Week - Mobile Exhibition Due to the COVID-19 situation, CWA has suspended or scaled back some of its services, which have impacted the seniors. As such, seniors may face social isolation during this period.
